This spring ring clasp features an open perpendicular ring for tying off strands. A classic clasp, the spring ring is ideal for all but the heaviest of necklaces. A spring ring is simply a hollow ring with an opening in one side that is closed off by a sliding 'door' inside the hollow ring. The door is held in place by a tiny spring controlled by a tiny nib on the outside of the ring. Press the nib back to compress the spring and open the clasp; release it to close the clasp.

I think the quality of the item is good. I believe this spring ring clasp matched the description. I just had it put on my broken necklace. It's working just fine. I would not hesitate to shop here again.
