    This is a very beautiful, elegant, and delicate-looking clasp (but constructed sturdily enough to last), and surprisingly lightweight. The spirals are even, with no surface flaws or aesthetic construction issues. The closure mechanism needs to be opened and fastened a few times to operate smoothly, but the effort involved is minimal - overall, it isn't a problem. Yes, it runs a bit on the expensive side, but this clasp is worth it, for both its quality and its beauty.
