This sterling silver pendant mounting holds a coin (U.S.); the edge of the mounting is grooved to mimic the look of a minted coin, and the open sides ensure the coin is visible from both sides. The mounting is easy to use; a screw closure at the top of the pendant keeps the loop closed. Loosen the screw to place the coin—a groove on the inner edge will hold it in place—then tighten the screw to secure the coin in place. The snap-on bail is easy to use and features a smooth, bright finish.

I bought it to carry a 1 oz US silver coin - but is not big enough....it can only carry a CDN silver coin A bit disappointing! Otherwise the quality is nice.
